I have one of these chairs. I am thin and it holds me just fine. I totally recommend these chairs if you have compressed low back disc problems. Since I got this chair I can get in my car and go somewhere. When I've been driving for a while I pull over for a while, sit in it for 20/30 minutes enjoying the scenery or reading or whatever, get back in the car and go further. I can go anywhere now, before I had this I couldn't get very far away from home for 15 years. It has given me back my life.

I bought 2 of the Zero Gravity recliners before I went on Vacation. they arrived as promised, took them out of the box and packed them in the camper for my trip. when I arrived at my destination I took one out to relax after a long drive. Sat down, pushed back and the whole thing promptly broke in half and dropped me to the ground!! I was to afraid to try the other one out don't waste your money.
